Submit A Film

Global, regional and local documentary and feature films will compete in several audience award categories, including Best Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Sri Lankan Film and a Grand Prize for Best Global feature. In 2012,  The festival will hold 40 screenings over 5 days, and aims to attract over 12,000 attendees.

KIFF will showcase both commercial and independent films taking care to select films that show evidence
of talent, thematic ambition and visual flair. There is no application fee for films submitted in Sri Lanka. But international films will be subject to fees of 10 USD for shorts and 20 USD for feature length (over 1 hour).

To submit your film for consideration, please complete the form below and post your film to us by April 15, 2012. We will contact you once we receive the form to determine your eligibility and give further instructions on submission.
